Støtte til Emergency support to human rights defenders in the Euro-Mediterranean

Vi støtter

• Human rights defenders facing difficulties/threats or who are at risk as a result of their activities in the region - individual defenders, NGO's and others
• Human rights defenders/activities in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Israel. However, human rights organisations and defenders based outside these countries may be supported by the Foundation if their action has a positive impact on one or several of those countries
• When applicants can show that an intervention by the Foundation will help counter threats against their lives and/or those of members of their family and reinforce the visibility and pursuit of their activities at a strategic timing
• With a demand that: the amount of funding requested may not exceed EUR 5,000
• When the request is such that it cannot be fully supported on an emergency basis by another national, regional or international organisation
